What We Believe

God- is the Creator of all things, both visible and invisible. (Genesis 1:1). God exists eternally in the three persons of the Trinity. God is, at the same time Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All three members of the Trinity are co-equal and co-eternal. God is omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent, and immutable.

Jesus- God, incarnate. Jesus lived a sinless life. Jesus was fully God and fully man, because of this Jesus’ death on the cross atoned for our sins. In light of his death and resurrection, those who believe in him have eternal life.

The Holy Spirit- After Jesus’ death and resurrection, God sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in those who believe in the Son. The Holy Spirit guides us, convicts us, illumines the Scripture, and empowers us to live the Christian life.

The Bible- The Bible is God’s Holy Word and, as such, is inerrant and infallible. In the Bible, we have every necessary for faith and salvation.

Salvation- We believe the salvation is by Grace through Faith, nothing else is required.

Last things- We believe in a literal bodily resurrection, the resurrection of the godly to eternal life, and the ungodly to eternal torment. We believe in the Rapture of the church prior to the Tribulation.

Two Ordinances- We believe that Jesus instituted two ordinances Baptism and the Lord’s Supper to be observed by the church.

Two Offices- We believe that the Bible affirms two offices in the governance of the church Pastor and Deacon.
